It has been so hot here, I decided I needed to cool off with this beautiful Snowflake which I stitched on a Pan Handler that I designed. These have a layer of Insul-Brite on the front and back. They are fully lined with no raw seams showing. I am thinking I will make some for Christmas and gift them with a couple of towels and a potholder to complete a set...The snowflake design is from Tattered Stitches and stitched out seamlessly... I love her designs. They are so well digitized! Here is a link to the site for anyone interested.

Hi Kim, these are gorgeous. I love using pan handle holders and pot holders as we are always using getting things in and out of a hot oven. We haven't got to our summer heat here yet but we have had a few hot days. Summer is only a couple of months away. Love Chris

Thanks, Chris... I finally figured out how to do them fully lined with no raw edges...and narrower than the first ones so they fit then handles better...and much easier to turn... YES!

I love the idea of a snowflake for hot pan handles. Well done and be careful. I think your Christmas list will be growing longer.

I am very impressed that you got the stitching on the backside just perfectly matched! and the snowflake as well. I haven't mastered that skill yet. It's great that you think of what you need and just create it. Nicely done!

These, I find out, are so popular right now. You've done such a great job in digitizing them. I've never made any and wondered if the pan handle stayed in place. Yes, I love Tattered designs also. Love them Kim.

Thank you Patti, and, yes, they do stay in place and are quite efficient. Much easier than trying to use a regular potholder.

They are so nice - I hadn't thought of making pan handlers! I like your snowflake too and I'll check out Tattered Stitches.

I think the pretty snowflake looks good on your dark sky pan handler. If the center was red / white it would look like a peppermint fell on your snowflake. Listen to me, always relate to food-lol
