What a surprise we got last week. I was actually on a call to my daughter in England when there was a knock on our front door. My husband answered and all was quiet, when I looked up I couldn’t believe who was standing there. It was my grandson Joshua, all the way from Dubai. What a wonderful few days we have had. Although Josh has now gone to pJohannesburg to see his grandfather, I am still in shock.

It was a shock and he has promised he will never do it again. He was so lucky we were in. Normally I bake his favourite things but it just didn’t happen

Thank you Kim. Joshua was taking a video of our reaction. It was very funny as Klaus had no idea who it was. I have to add that Josh was wearing a hoodie.

What a wonderful surprise! Just what you needed, I bet! Our Belgium Son and family surprised us a few months back. We were in shock for about 2 minutes then I started crying because it was so wonderful to hugs them and see them and meet our new granddaughter. Josh looks wonderful and I am certain his visit was way too short! Loads of hugs to you and your hubby!! Laura

Oh! Sarah, how wonderful to get such a lovely surprise. I do hope you got to spend the whole time with him. No wonder Klaus didn't recognise him, especially in a hoodie and with his beard etc.

We only had 3 days. The rest of the 10 days was in Johannesburg, staying with his grandfather (my ex) and seeing his old friends. He goes back to Dubai tomorrow.
Forgot to add that it is the Western Head here in Knysna. Just down the road from us.
