Took me a minute or two to figure out what this is. I believe it is a "fidget" quilt or small pad used for dementia patients. Lots of different textures and shapes to feel. I've seen them used for children with certain disorders. This is a wonderful thing. Calming.

Ich habe sehr gute Rückmeldungen erhalten von Betreuerinnen demenzkranker Menschen. Es sind verschiedene Stoffe zum Fühlen, Greifen, Schieben, Schlüssel, die gesucht werden, eingenähte Knisterfolie etc.

Very nice to see what we call in our group 'fidget mats'. We made many for our local nursing home but had to revamp and cover up all metal things and make double sure all things were tied on very good with yarns and heavy threads. These are great for busy hands. Great job.
