This project had been on hold until the twist clasps came in and I just hadn't felt like stitching this last week. I used a vinyl-type material, that I back with a fusible interfacing to give it some sturdiness as it was very thin. The inside pieces are faux leather (vinyl). This design is for an 8x12 hoop. I did finish the side seams off on my sewing machine. My Iphone fits great in it along with a few credit cards. Thanks for looking! Hugs, Laura

This is really pretty Laura. You come up with the prettiest projects. It looks like something you could buy in a shop. Well done!

Toogie, you make me blush!! Thank you for your kind words! Would you believe, the top material (that doesn't fray) I purchased at Walmart a while ago. I didn't at the time know what I would do with it but, it was interesting and I loved the colors. Thanks again and hugs!
That’s how I purchase a lot of my fabrics. I’m not sure what I’ll make with it at the time but when I’m ready it’s here.

Very professional looking. You did such a great job and the closure is a special touch. I agree with Toogie it looks like a purchased item. It sounds as if you are making some for Christmas since you said you will make more of them.

Angie, I should make some for Christmas!!! My head is full of wedding and Thanksgiving at the moment. But, this design was just asking to be stitched out. So, I put other things aside for a bit to try it. Thanks for your kind comments!! Hugs!

I'm glad you made such a pretty project just for you. And it is so pretty. What a clever way to carry your Iphone and needed credit cards too. I'd say you needed a break too after the months of stitching for the wedding and the covid scares too. I hope they are feeling better by the day.

Karen, thank you so much! This design had looked a little complicated but once I got into it - it made sense! I am happy I stitched it. I will do more clutches! Thanks again!!
