Hello my dear Cuties, I'm just listening to the news at midday and am so sad to hear that there are 243 cases of Covid in Newcastle. We had someone come up here from Sydney who was infected and went to a local pub where everyone who was there has been told to isolate as they are all close contacts. It's so frustrating, as most people are doing the right thing and obeying the rules. It only takes one irresponsible person to ruin the lives of many. Rant over.
I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone on here a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and to those who are not Christians a wonderful holiday season, as I know what it is like at this time of the year.
I know I haven't been on here as much as I would like due to having the family with us and thankfully they moved out last weekend, plus I was sewing every day making that massive quilt, and so Trev and I went to Melbourne, Victoria last week for a break. Of course it's now back to the 'normal' daily routines.
Fortunately for us we are going to be at Amy and Steve's new home for Christmas and that means I don't have to host it. We had Christmas last year at our son Ben's home and maybe next year it might be at our elder daughter Dana's home. I am so pleased to pass this on to them as, I'm sure all of you know, it's usually the Mum's and Dad's who host Christmas etc.
Let's hope that 2022 is better than the past 2 years, it's been dreadful in more ways than one.
So peace be with you, good health and happiness always, love Chris
It's another sobering Christmas here. We had our All Saints Day celebration and acknowledged the passing of 49 members in our church in the past 12 months. I used to love the All Saints service, the singing of "For All the Saints" and the remembrance that they are still among us in many ways, most especially at communion. This year it was just tough. A blessed Advent and Christmas to you and yours and so glad you get to not be the main cook. Whew! That's almost gift enough, right?
You are right about not having to cook, yippee!! Love Chris
I'm going to be getting a new Husqvarna sewing machine in the New Year. Off to see my Husqvarna shop on Friday to talk about trading in my Brother Quattro to get the new
Designer Ruby tm 90!! Love Chris
Hope you enjoy Christmas at the new house. IT is beautiful...
HUGS to everyone!! Hope Mum is doing OK too. Extra hug for you... Suzanne
I can't wait to have Christmas with Amy and family and Mum is coming too. She gets more forgetful day by day. I just go with the flow. Love Chris
A very happy Christmas to the Pennifold’s and family, especially your mum.
Merry Christmas to you and your families too. Love Chris
I'm off to see Maarten tomorrow (Friday) to discuss the new Husqvarna Ruby 90! I'm looking forward to seeing it in action! Love Chris
I have been watching the numbers rise in Newcastle. it is so bad when one stupid person does the wrong thing and how it has affected so many more. We have been lucky here in Tassie but I don't think it will be long before someone brings it in. I have just been out and done my last Pressie buying am glad to be back home where I feel safe.

We are having Christmas with our daughter and she cooks a lovely meal. I am taking a pavlova like I did last year. Hope to have enough of our home grown strawberries to put on top.

Merry Christmas to all.
