Hello Cuties! These are some hand embroidered yellow rose pillowcases bought by my sister-in-law for her daughter Mandy. These were Douglas favorite flower. Jenny wanted me to machine embroider Mandy’s name on them and this saying. This is their first year without Douglas. Mandy is still having such a hard time, seems more so than Jenny, if that’s possible. Christmas is a sad time for some people so we must be sensitive to how they grieve. ❤️Toogie

Douglas always liked yellow roses. When they were first married Jenny came across an iron bed frame that had roses made into the ironwork. She painted or had it painted white and the roses yellow for their bed. Thanks Chris, Jenny picked them up yesterday.

This is lovely. People grieve differently and some can never get over it as fast or ever. My dearest friend lost her husband a year and half ago from Pancreatic Cancer and she still has a very hard time talking about his journey thru it and eventual death.

Losing a loved one is hard enough, but terminal cancer is especially hard, for everyone in the family. I’m sorry your friend is still having such a hard time. Some churches have support groups. It could be good for her if she joins one.
