I made a checkbook cover for one of my sister-in-laws and showed it to our 9 year old Granddaughter. She loved it and said her Mom (our daughter) has only an old ugly brown one. So, of course, I made an aqua one for our daughter too. Now looking at them, I realize I only have an old ugly black checkbook cover! I need to make one for myself - lol... Thanks for taking a look!! Thank you, Linda. No, I don't use a special needle. I use the same needle for most all my stitching. It's a size 75/11. I don't use a heavy faux leather (marine vinyl) and if the design is heavy - I use more stabilizer. This design was light and didn't require extra stabilizer. Thank you again! Laura

Oh this is an absolutely must have for 2022! You know I am on a search for this design! You make so many thoughtful gifts. The items I have made and kept are usually goof-ups. Just beautiful!

Thank you, Suzanna!! The site is called Stitch Soup. I have looked through it and can't find any designs that might go against licensed designs. I have stitched other things of hers and they stitch out so well. Her things are very pretty and she has great instructions. This is her site:
