Unfortunately, the photo is not how the colors look in reality. The embroidery pattern is not quite understandable to me, maybe it works only on white, in any case colors are so much over-embroidered by the next color that you can no longer see them, or do you win that the petal consists of four colors... the bottom color is completely over-embroidered, I find the new designs of EmbLib have lost quality...

It is a cute design but I see what you mean. Did you use the color sheet that came with the design. I looked in up and it seems to be a lighter color. It does look quite heavy.

Ich verstehe was Du sagst.

Ah I looked at this design but haven't bought any of this weeks offers. Looking closely at your photo one can see how the colours layer together but I understand what your saying. Urban threads and Emb Lib have changed quite a bit and personally I have lost some of my love for UT. Now its often difficult to see which site is which so how long before they merge as one?

Yes unfortunately, the quality of EmbLib's designs isn't that great anymore and the cheeky style I used to find at Urban isn't there anymore either - unfortunately. There we are of one opinion Caroline, hugs Maria

I enlarged the picture and could see what you are talking about. And I agree with you. It's sad to see a good company hanging as Emb Lib has.

yes unfortunately Karen, of course everything is in motion and changing, too bad when you see the quality is lost, hugs Maria

A shame as I love the concept of the design....

I hope the designers wake up and look at their work with distance and become self-critical, hugs Maria

It's gorgeous in its whole! I really don't see a thing wrong with it even if it didn't meet your expectationsl

My expectations were that I would see the colors I embroidered and they would not be over-embroidered with other colors that come after....

Hi Maria, such a cute bug, I haven't use Emb Library for years as I find their designs are too stitch intensive, they don't need that much base thread to stabilise the designs. Love Chris

Hi Chris, that's why I used to automatically increase the design by ten percent, and then the embroidery count would fit. If you do this with new designs, you will get occasional holes..., hugs Maria

How interesting as this is what I used to do too

i don't sew them much either to thick and i wrecked a few things even after i decreased the stitches ,yours looks lovely hugs xx

I enlarge as bermara does. Then, I enlarge the design and view the stitch points. If there are any holes, I just fill them in by adding stitchs in that place using my software. But, it is a hassle that the designs are so dense.

I love your work but I understand what you are saying. It is unfortunate, EL have really lovely designs, but they are so dense. I wrote to them ages ago and mentioned the denseness the reply I got was it was me and not the designs. I also had a problem with a FSL design and I received the same reply Oh well sad to say I no longer purchase from them,

I have also written to them, they reply quickly but only in general terms and evasively. Apparently they do not need to pay attention to customer satisfaction....

Although the stitch is dense, I think it looks beautiful. Is it done on minky?

Yes on Minky, it has become a pillowcase.

I am happy to see that I am not the only one who believes that Embroidery Library designs are too dense. I buy very few from them for that reason. I like the light fill designs from Tattered Stitches.
