Just come home after dropping Mum off from our 50th wedding anniversary lunch. All the family came which was lovely. We even had Mia’s 2 elder sons and one girlfriend too at the luncheon. We are all stuffed and won’t want dinner.

The kids gave us a wonderful gift voucher for the Fischer Hotel, where we have booked for my 70th birthday on October 10th in Bressanone in Italy. As my maiden name is Fischer, Trev decided to book the Fischer suite!! How awesome is that?

They also put a collage of photos together from our wedding day through to recent times of us all together.

We were very spoilt. To top it off our son Ben and his partner Mia paid for the whole 22 of us! We won’t stand for that as we had planned to pay for it all. I told Trev that’s not on, as they can’t afford it with often 11 mouths to feed every alternate weekend. So we’ll just pay for it and put it into his bank account.
