Take a few minutes today and back up your computer!!! We are away from home where my computer is backed up every day. Yesterday evening, my laptop stopped working - my sweet husband spent a lot of time trying to get it up and running - he told me this morning the hard drive has failed and it looks like all my data is gone. I do have a back up at home in Michigan from January - but not here and we will not be returning for a month or so. He is kindly letting me use his. Ugh - sorry if I have missed your birthday, your new projects or comments!!! Bunches of hugs to every, Laura

I'm so sorry to hear this sad story. We can never predict when bad things will happen, nor can we back up our computer too often or have too many backups. Kudos to your hubby for generously sharing.

Thank you, Karen - got a new hard drive for my old laptop - it has taken me a while to get my programs set up again but it is doing fine now - once I get home I can use a more recent backup! Hugs to you!!

I had missed this post as well. I hope you did not loose too many designs. Anyway this was a good reminder to back up.

I ended up losing about 6 weeks of designs - I consider myself lucky!! Hugs!!
