One of my grand daughters fell in a brand new pair of leggings and put both of the knees out. Nanna - ie me has been asked can I mend the leggings. (Oh the exciting jobs were asked to do) Please can anyone point me in the direction of a small heart, possibly fsl that I can embroider over the hole. I'm getting no where with searching. Thanks and flowers

I know what you mean - the jobs we are asked to do!! Just a thought - could you make a small patch with a heart on it and then iron it on?

Thanks Kim but as its a man made fabric plus elastic the iron would probably make a larger hole

I am not sure if this would do. If you need it really small maybe look at ear ring designs/FSL jewlery. Tough part about that would be the hanger. Also applique might be easier since you could iron it over the whole before sewing. Good luck

I'm thinking! Is the fabric stretch with lycra? You are a good Nanna!

Or a mad Nanna. There are times one cannot say no when a child is crying over a accident

All I can think of is Embroidery Library has some small designs, but don't know if they are too small. You may be a mad Nanna but you are certainly a beloved Nanna too.
