No birthdays for 15 April. Instead please can we all send a cyber hug to Chris/Pennifold who had been grounded by herself at home with Covid when she should have been away with her sister and mum planning for their mum.
The flower is a Snakeshead fritillary, seen in the UK but not wildly common but I was lucky to see one a couple of weeks ago. Do they grow where you live

Chris the first cyber hug for you comes from me and I do hope Covid isn’t catching from cyber hugs

And I add my cyber hug a day too. I hope you are able to enjoy your time stitching and other activities you never seem to have enough time to do.

Oh! thanks Caroline for this post and to Karen for your wishes.
It's Good Friday here about 10.30am and I'm just about to make some Hot Cross Buns, wish me luck.
I've spoken with Mum and explained to her someone will be there for lunch with her today.
I also spoke with Amy who popped in yesterday and said that Mum doesn't have much food left in the fridge. She has plenty of frozen meals in the freezer and so I hope the carer who is coming today will put one on for her. I will ring when she is there to ask her to do that.
I can't wait to see Mum on Sunday, it's been a long week and I've got my sewing done, cleaned out my wardrobe and tall boy and changed bedding for our niece and family who are arriving Monday.
Trev gets home from his interstate holiday - in Adelaide till Sunday then onto Melbourne where Ben is flying down from Newcastle to meet up with him and they are going to the Easter Monday AFL (Aussie rules) football match, then they come come Tuesday.
It's been a long week being on one's own, but as a woman I always find something to do. Thank God for the internet, telephone and good friends. Love Chris

Bigs hugs, Chris. What is a tall boy? Like a high boy? I need pictures or explanation. Glad your time has been productive and mostly fun. We all need "time for self", but we don't want it imposed on us. Note to asterixsew, no frittilaries here, and I thought they were out of an artist's imagination with those checks or dots!

Hi Betsy, yes it’s just a different name.
I meant to say to Caroline that I’ve never seen the Snakeshead Frittilary either. Love Chris

The checkerboard flower is a lily plant, you get with us as a bulb for the garden, always beautiful.

Oh! thanks for the hugs Jerrilyn, and yes, aren't we fortunate in knowing what Sunday brings?
I always wonder at the miracle that Mary saw when she thought she was speaking with the Gardener and then to find out that it was Jesus, what a blessing, Love Chris
