Hi gals, seeing as I can’t go out I decided to make my own Hot Cross Buns - I always have these on Good Friday.
I’m waiting for them to finish cooking. I can’t wait to see them all cooked. Just have to glaze them and I’m going to just warm some apricot jam, cause I LOVE Apricots!

Well done. I forgot to get hubby to buy me some yesterday. I heard it mentioned a couple of times in the radio this morning that today is Hot Cross Bun day. (Yes you guessed right I was I was cross) Hope to be able to get some tomorrow. I refused to buy them before Easter so I guess it was my own fault. 🤣🤣

Hi Shirley, I'm with you I don't buy them till Easter, but because I've been home alone, I forgot to get any of the family to buy me some. These are delicious anyway. Can you believe they have them out in the shops just after Christmas? Love Chris

Hooray. I got my Hot Cross Buns yesterday. Delicious.
I only buy the traditional ones. They have them in other flavors here as well. And they are out in the shops just after Christmas. Great today is Easter Egg day. I have 6 bunnies in the cupboard. We love the dark Chocolate ones. Yummy. Looking forward to cracking one open tonight.

I’m drinking my first cup of coffee. These would be so good to wake up to. I LOVE breads of any kind. While living in Germany I would send hubby out for Brochen. (Probably misspelled) I craved it!

Good afternoon Toogie, thanks for the comments, yes, they were delicious! I haven't had breakfast yet and it's 12.30 lunchtime for me. I've been busy tidying up the house and planted over a hundred Jonquil and Daffodil bulbs. I am a bit late as I notice some of the ones I must have missed pulling up in December are already popping through the ground. Love Chris
