Your quilt is nice, Jenne, I have never tried this. I would be curious and concerned how it hows up after washing. Can you tell us, are there special instructions how to care for it? Very neat work, I must add.

I would not wash it often, the color will fade, more of a wall hanging type. as i colored I added shading to give it a more natural look, this a King sized quilt 94x115.also I did not do a regular bias binding as I want the border to end the quilt so I did a back binding .
