We call those blocks or quilt illusions. Why did you not need a sewing machine? Are the pieces interwoven?

Thanks for sharing this and like everyone else, I would love to know how it is put together without a sewing machine. So will you make more and what will you do with it?

Look at the last picture. It's just woven in and out, because she has the edges all around pinned.

What! No Sewing Machine???? How???? This is gorgeous and yes, an optical illusion. I must look this up on YouTube.
