Hello Cutie’s, Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are mothers! I wanted to let you know our honorary Cutie went to the beach! Look at her here with mom.
Ashley said when the waves came in it would surprise Avery and when they went out the sand and water would tickle her legs and she would laugh and giggle until she would almost loose her breath.
Nora had a bad reaction to something while there. Her face swoll up and skin got red and white blotchy. You know my first thought was seafood but they didn’t eat any. She did this when she was about four too but not her lips. We didn’t know why then either. Ashley went to the drug store and got her medicine though.
Grayson is such a good dad to Avery. He is so helpful with all her needs. I know it wasn’t easy for him to carry her down all those stairs and back up again when they left everyday. He’s a tall 40ish year old man but Avery is heavy, dead weight.
They would have had a great family picture if Mason had been able to go. He is finishing up his last year of high school and as a senior has a lot going on.
I am glad they got to go and have a good time. They did see 2 sharks about 4 feet long. That would have done it for me. They used the pools too but it’s nice just relaxing to the sound of the waves.
Our son came by a little while this morning. I was making a cake and baking cookies in case anyone came in. Their kids were coming in so he was going back home to fry fish for lunch. I heard from Marsha/Nae. She said they got 29 cucumbers out of the garden today and would bring some when they come. I’m expecting Ashley’s family later. They went to church and afterwards went to his moms, I’m sure.
Hope all of you have a beautiful day. It’s sunny here for a change, it’s not raining. ❤️To all-Toogie
I pray they had a wonderful day and enjoy the beauty of the sand, sea and shore. Love Chris
What a dumb question. I said,"Avery goes where they go, because she is part of the family."
The sand was so white there, even though it was so pretty, it reflected the sun so much so, that no amount of sunscreen and reapplying of it, kept them from sunburn. A friend of mine said maybe Nora was allergic to the sunscreen. I told her Nora has broken out before. I remember when she was four. Ashley told me the allergist said there are so many things they have to test people for, he didn't want to put her through all that at this young age. I don't know.
I hope Nora is feeing better.
We are in one of the southern states so it’s been hot here and gardens are producing.
