Hi Cuties, yesterday my daughter took me to buy some material then to a sewing notions store. I am use to this type of store from my years of sewing dresses for my daughter and myself BUT this store is so much bigger than what I know.... after sending pictures to my sister in Florida she said she wanted a few hours and $500 in that store he he

2 One wall of buttons NO such thing as on cards he he
3 A simple selection of trims, non glitter, I didn't get a picture of the glitter trims...
4 Elastic lace... great selection!!!
5 Zipper selection -- this almost floored me... there was another wall of smaller zips

#3 amazed me that men are the workers in this type store. I would love to know the prices of entredeau and tatting laces. Is this a store with just notions? A fabric store is a separate store?

This store is in the middle of fabric stores which is why it is so large he he!! The fabric stores are just as FULL of choices with each store having a type of fabeic, ie.. party. wedding. fancy or daily type and all types of fabric... just as hard to make choices LOL
In Saudi only men worked, now with the new rulers, women are taking over many of the rolls that deal with women which makes me so happy!!! Imagine a new bride having to purchase her honeymoon nightys from men, it use to be weird!!!

What a great idea
There are no longer visa restrictions for Saudi so it would be possible..... Let me suggest going to Kuwait instead, they have the same type of store AND they are a very open society, you'd have more fun!!!
I didn't realize these stores were in Saudi and Kuwait. It would still be fun to visit.

Which is why you would need hours to go through, each item is brought down then rewound or folded and returned BEFORE going on to the next customer.....

Wonderful, what country is this store in?
Back in the 70's I remember going to smaller stores or warehouses that had a huge range of sewing notions & fabrics but now so many have closed down over the years & notions are usually pre packed from China.
