Good morning Cuties! This US Navy pillow panel yardage only had four panels, but I was only able to use three, in this quilt top I made. I made the scrap blocks from watching how Jenny Doan did in her Triple Play video of Crumb quilting. I made these scrap blocks a while back and set them aside for future use. Well the future is now the present-lol- and I thought the Navy panels looked nice with these crumb blocks. I hope you do as well. I made my blocks 12 1/2 inch but I think Jenny made hers smaller. Of course the pillow panels were larger. I added the white inner border cut 2 1/2 inch and outer navy border cut 6 inches to make my top finish at 62x84. Have a nice day. It is looking like a good chance of much needed rain here today. -Toogie

I love scraps and detest waste of any kind. I nearly faint when I hear someone say they trashed fabric. They could have sent it to me!-lol- I would turn it into something useful. Hope you are well-Toogie

I love this sort of thing and immediately went over and watched Jenny's video. This is a beautiful quilt. I did some of this in the past but didn't make anything this lovely.

We are our own worse critics and I will bet yours looks great. I seconded guess myself using these 'crumbs' for something so important as giving to a veteran but the other quilters loved it. I like Jenny's videos. She makes everything seem so doable, especially if someone has doubts. Thank you Sharon for commenting.

Thank you Suzanna. I just told my neighbor that I'm so glad our leader Sharon, gives me free reign on my creativity. We all have access to the patterns in our group, but I get bored making the same thing over and over. I was hesitant to ask for those 20 fabrics for the Bargello but Sharon was happy to provide. We are blessed that a local business helps fund our QOV fabrics/supplies.
