This is how far Jim has gotten on the storage shed he is building so we have somewhere to store stuff til we can get a garage built....it has been triple digits heat since he has been there so ge can only work about an hour at a time as he is prone to heat exhaustion and had an episode of heat stroke about 5 yrs ago....it was 115 with heat index today🥵

Oh! my goodness, that's hotter than we get here in Newcastle during the summer. It's looking good and I hope Jim takes it easy. Love Chris

Jim is amazing. And glad he is wish enough to work only an hour and hope that hour is during the early morning and evening when it is cooler. And as my husband says, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I hope you are still on target with your move in date and it is cooler then. It is a very hot summer for many of us.

Not sure on move now.......it all depends on this storage shed, we got the windows replaced on the porch so that is ready for the kitty cats, but he wants to have somewhere to store his tools and outdoor equipment before we move, so when this is done he will come home and we will then have our garage sale and then plan the move...probably looking at first of August now........😍😘

🥵🥵🥵...yes, he knows he has to keep in constant touch with me while he is in AR, I have threatened him with calling the sheriff to do a wellness check on him if I don't get a text or call before and after he goes outside to work!!

I think it's not a cool place in the south! We have been under a heat advisory for a while now. The temps were 99 one day and heat index was 117. I know when you get in a car it feels like you are getting in an oven, so we don't get out much. Too hot to do anything and gas prices, well...
It looks like everything is coming along good. Building materials are extremely high, so good Jim is like our guys, that can build it yourself. We need to change our handicap ramp out and we plan to, as soon as it's a little cooler, to work. The ramp we have was thrown up in a hurry by son, son-in-law and friends using some recycled pool deck wood from son-in-law's deck. After release from the hospital, I actually sat in the dark car waiting a little while for them to finish the ramp, so I could wheel in, when I broke my leg. It sure has helped with Avery because she not only has a heavier chair now, she is heavier. It's a long ramp so the incline wouldn't be too steep. I know because I counted each stride I took this morning down it and it was 21 strides long!-lol-I was being careful not to fall as hubby was still in bed when I went out. If I'd fall again he'd never hear me.

🥵🥵Yes it is extremely hot!! Jim had heat stroke a few yrs back and spent the day in the hospital, they put him on an ice bed and IV fluids.....the docs told him now that he has had this happen, he will be more prone to it in future, so that is why he is only working an hour at a time then resting for several........

Yes, summer moved in to replace spring this year. We need a new name for the extremes in temperature we are having now and we haven't even hit August yet! Our low for tonight is forecast to be 81 degrees. Glad Jim is being careful. Hope you are still getting better and better.
