Maybe they charge excessive shipping, Dolly! You're right - be careful. And we can't feel that fabric to know if it is quality or garbage. I once bought a beautiful long dress from Sears with striking black and white fabric swooshes down the skirt. Got it home and put it on and loved it till I discovered it had 6 basting stitches per inch in all those shirt seams (maybe about 16 seams). Of course, I took it right back. Funny, but sad.

I agree with you and with graceandham. We need to be so careful these days. I notice since so many of our countries no longer produce many of their own goods, the quality of fabric and clothing has deteriorated.

I ordered from one of those sites, paying through PayPal. Still waiting for my order to arrive, but feel that I have a fall-back with PayPal to get my money returned if there is any problem. Will let you know how it works out. Hugs. Nan
