Hi Gals, here is a collection of Machine embroidered and machine sewn items for our church fete in October. I think I've told you I won't be there for it as Trev and I are holidaying in Italy, Austria and Switzerland, leaving next Friday 9th September.
Some of the eyeglass cases and some of the FSL I made earlier and thought they can go to the fete. I've still got another week before I leave, so I'll do a few more things.
I've made about 10 shopping bags and they should sell well, completely lined with french seams, so they will hold a good amount.
It's Spring here tomorrow as we start on the 1st day of September and it's going to be a glorious day of about 21C, which will be about the temps and a bit lower on our trip. Love Chris

Hi Suzanne, thanks for your lovely comments too. Mum is going o.k. Talked with her yesterday, but she gets confused as to what she is talking about eg, cat vs dog! Jewls is doing her best, but said Mum is not eating much. I think that happens as you age anyway, but it's difficult to get Mum to eat things she doesn't like. I think Jewls should just give in to what Mum likes. Love Chris

Thanks dear Karen, someone asked me yesterday if I've packed yet, I just laughed and said "No, I'll do that most probably next Thursday, " (the day before we leave).

Thanks so much Patti. Yes, we have been very blessed to be able to travel so much. We think we will have one more big overseas trip in a couple of years. Of course it always depends on your health and stamina. Trev will be 74 and I will be 72 then. Insurance is always an issue, but it will be worth it as we want to visit England and the USA. Hi Cheryl, it's a gorgeous place. I remember taking our children there and I had them all dressed in sailor looking outfits! They were mortified in later life seeing the pictures! They are now 43,41,39 and laugh about their striped White and Navy shirts and navy pants!!! Have a wonderful time there. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
