Hi Betsey, we have confused the kitchen staff here. Every night the meal consists of 5 courses! Being Aussies we, meaning Trev and myself, only have 2 courses, a main meal and maybe a dessert. They let you self serve the salads, (whereas we put salad on our dinner plate with the main meal - if it is suitable of course) then we might have dessert. Most nights Trev and I only have a main meal.
So we told the waitresses we only want salad and the main course, it caused all sorts of chatter.
We don't eat sweets either for breakfast as do the Italians. We just have cereal with fruit, toast etc.
I'm glad we've had a couple of days rest, it's certainly been a full on holiday. Love Chris
