Hi girls, here are my pictures of the Abbey in Bressanone. (St. Augustinian monks have lived there for over one thousand years)
If you want to see more have a look on the Internet for the Novacella Abbey, Bressanone. It is unbelievably the most beautiful Abbey I have ever seen in my life.
How they have kept it in such pristine condition for over a thousand years is beyond imagination. Love Chris
"Abbazia di Novacella/Neustift monastery was founded in 1142 as an Augustinian abbey. The Romanesque collegiate church was baroqueised in 1742. It became an important centre for education and art due to its monastery school.'

2. As you walk into the Abbey
3. Inside the Abbey Cathedral
4. Back of the Abbey with Trevor standing beneath the Organ area
5. High Altar
6. Gold vestments (all hand made!!!)
7. Library room and in each corner there is a hidden spiral staircase behind closed doors
8. View of the outside dome.
Of course there have been Aboriginal peoples in Australia for over 60,000 years and our Western civilization is only over 200 years old. Love Chris
We are leaving Bressanone tomorrow (Saturday) to go to Verona, then off to Singapore on Tuesday then home next Saturday the 22nd October. Looking forward to going back home. Love Chris
