Thank you so much, it’s possible to make that many years but I doubt we live that long. Your parents were so blessed and you to have them. Great role models of commitment. They must have lived until their 90’s. My mother in law lived to be 96 and he still has an aunt living in her own home 104 this year!

I met my husband a few years before he was drafted. I make a joke of this but it’s not to be disrespectful to anyone that lost loved ones in Vietnam.

He told me if his orders were for Vietnam, he didn’t want us to marry. Too many guys weren’t coming home. When his orders were for Germany, we hurriedly married, on his short almost 2 week leave, so I could go meet him.

I joke and say, I wonder how many times over the years he wished he would have faced war instead of live with me!-lol

One of the grandsons told us yesterday, that was many moons ago. I said many pounds ago too!-lol He weighed 113 and I weighed 115-lol I don’t want to say today’s weight but you can see for yourself.

I had to go renew my drivers license because birthday is coming up. We went to a different DMV office. Usually they just ask if name and address are the same and keep all other info the same. The lady in this office had the nerve to ask me, ‘You’re not 117 pounds still, are you?’ I told her , I was. I’m at least 117 and more!-lol lol
