My sister sent a picture of this to my hubby and told him to show it to me. She knows that I used to love making a lot of FSL. I told him to ask her how many she wanted. LOL This is stitched on Organza, and I did not have one thread break and back looks as good as the front. Design is by Embroidery Library

Beautiful! What size is it, 7 x 9 maybe? I take...lol Gorgeous, I admire anyone who can make FSL. Not my strong suit, for sure. What will you do with it? I mean will you sew it onto something else or use it as is, like a doily if big enough..

Good Guess, Toogie. It actually measures 8-1/2 x 6-3/4. It is meant to be a doily. I made myself and daughter a tiffany blue one. Most likely I will mount mine. I do love to do FSL lace, but since being with the little ones so much I am more into doing things for them now. And they love birthday shirts for each year. I only have to do for 4 of them, for younger daughter does for the 4 grands she has, and the 4 foster children her daughter has.

This is beautiful work, I made one too. How did you get your edges so neat? I'm having trouble with mine. Thank you for any help.

I finger press after I wash out the wash away (I use Vilene). But they also say to give it a light press if it seems to pucker.
Fabulous stitchout!
Did you have any pokies on the outer edge?

Had request for colored pumpkins. I made 2 of the teal - one was for me!
and the purple was a request from my little 5-year-old great-granddaughter. I forgot all about it, and she asked me on Halloween if I had finished her pumpkin. Needless to say, I hopped right on it, and gave it to her when we went down to have a Halloween dinner she helped prepare.

I love this and is so pretty of a pumpkin---noah's comment is like me--thrift some sheer curtains too. Amazing what you find to recycle. These are lovely.
