Today we were invited to watch a storybook parade at the school our 5-year-old great-granddaughter attends. Each class has been reading a book. Lily's class was reading Charlotte's Web, and she asked to be the spider. It was so cute watching K thru 2nd grade and the costumes. She was dismissed from school for the day and went home with her Amma (Our daughter) so that she could help prepare our Halloween dinner. She told us that they were making graveyard dirt for dessert but that it really wasn't dirt, and we could eat it because it will be yummy. She is such a character!
