Knitted a present for my granddaughter. She loved it. I have knitted simple colourwork lately, but a pattern like this I had not tried for a very l o n g time.

The pattern is from a book by Linka Neumann called 'Villmarks Gensere'. There is an English edition as well, called Wilderness sweaters, vol.2

That was a lot of work reading charts and counting. and of course knitting Great work. No wonder granddaughter loves it.

You are so right about the counting. The bears were a 36 repeat and I must admit I had to unravel twice in that section.

This is beautiful! Your finishes always look professional. I’m sure your granddaughter will stay very warm and think of you when she wears it.
