Taking a minute to update poinsettia wreath and thank you for all your lovely comments also. I hung it on my wall temporarily to see if it would curl forward with the weight of the accessorizing. It did fine but thought I'd err on caution and went ahead and made a little dowel tube for the top and hand stitched it on. A wooden skewer fit good enough and yes, does add strength in case anyone is doing this project. Wasn't happy with the wire hanger nor the plastic one the teacher put on the back with big tabs the hanger shoulders were pushed thru. I like like tube better, works better for me and no show. I can still remove the skewer for flatness if I want to use it as a table centerpiece.

I can see making this as a very very large or smaller project. It is all in the size of the blocks and if you really want to you could leave off the center applique block. That makes a pretty one also. It was so very easy--you should go ahead and get yours going girl.

Smart solution. Love the idea of using it as a wall decoration.

Yes, either way but with that Bosal Product Foam in the blocks you can't just fold it up to put away so will will get hung in the closet on a hook with a big bow I sometimes put on top of one of my Christmas trees. I have a fall wreath hanging on the door of my upstairs bathroom where I put it 'away'--I should have gotten out--this is fall here where I live, lol.

What a clever solution! I'm so glad you showed us the back to see how it actually looks. I like it so much better than the extended dowel or curtain rod I'm familiar with. Keep showing off your projects and solutions, please.

Love your wreath, thanks for sharing and how to hang it up. Made one long ago for a friend to use as table decoration with candle in center.
