Reading Pillows for my Great-Grands. Hate the wrinkles that appeared the moment I ironed on the fusible. Since the burgundy fabric was heavier I decided to leave the fusible off-no wrinkles. I am sure my great grands will not mind.
P.S. The Cinderella character came from my Brother machine

'These are so much nicer than anything you could buy for them. I'm sure they are personalized by their special interests, too. Wonderful pillows.

Yes they were personalized based on their interests. Fortunately they love reading

Aww, I love these reading pillows. I know you put a lot of time and love into them.

Loved making them. Hope you feel a little better.

They all look so pretty. The kids won’t pay attention to the wrinkles. I’m sure most of us have had that happen. Maybe next time, if it does that, quilt a close squiggly line, like meander or stipple, around all the open spaces and may take care of the part that wrinkled. I’d try one anyway. I really like that Princess design!

Great suggestion. Hopefully I remember next time 😊

Not sure how many can not see any big pictures of projects but you know, those kids aren't going to see wrinkles and love their pillows. I do hate when that happens---they say to pre-shrink interfacings and stabilizers---I feel like somehow they should do this in the process of making the stuff, we certainly pay enough for the stuff. Great work by the way.

I agree. This one was a fusible interfacing. I would not know how to pre-shrink it. I am sure the children will overlook the flaw

Very nice. I had intended to make these for the 8 little greats, then got the 4-foster greats, and decided just to make them all fleece throws. I always give the little ones books at Christmas. Maybe next year...If I start early enough then I could get 12 of them done, don't you think?

I always tell myself to start on my Christmas project early. Unfortunately I do not succeed. This year i was specially behind. No Cards.

So cheerful, love them all especially because the color combination and the practicality of the handles, the designs are very nice and well executed. (I wish somebody gave me the suggestion that Toogie added in her comment) Great job! Hugs - Roberta

Thank you. Yes Toogie's suggestion would have worked. I am trying to store it in my brain for the next time I encounter that problem

I love them all! I need to learn to make these for the 4 youngest grands. Maybe it will entice the one grandson to like reading.......

Their Mom told me about their interest and I tried using designs that matched it. One of them is not a friend of reading but he was all excited about the book I included and his pillow. So there is hope
