Hello everyone I wanted to thank you all for praying for Toey. the cat with the abscess on his head. He had three surgeries and stayed at the vets hospital for a month.

We got him back a week ago. He still had 8 stitches and open wounds and anemia and a cloudy eye.

We brought him back to the vets yesterday. He is doing better. He had his stitches removed yesterday. The swelling went down Doc did blood work on him to check the anemia situation. We have been feeding him chicken livers and beef livers. for a week. He is getting vitamins and we are still treating his eye and open wounds.

Yesterday he sat up in his cage greeting us with both eyes open, .I was thrilled to say the least to see him with a spark of life in him.

I put him on my lap and this is the first time he wanted to go down and play with toys, I was so happy to see him rebounding.

I will hear today how his anemia is.

He still has a ways to go but he has life in him now.

He is so sweet throughout this whole ordeal and is very calm while we treat him.

When I first got him he had one foot in the grave and I thought he might not make it. With prayers, care and patience he will thrive and become a wonderful pet for someone.

Thanks you all again. Suzanne
UPDATE
HE is still not out of the woods yet. There is not many more meds we can combat this Staff infection with. He still needs some prayers. I would really hate to put him down after all this costly care. He is a fighter and he has not given up yet so I will not give up on him. Thank you all!!! Suzanne
