Update on daughter, Robin. She had a Lumpectomy with some nodes removed. Both still had cancer cells so she underwent a mastectomy and removal of 5 more nodes. One node had cancer. She finally got her last tube removed of 3. She just found out she doesn't need chemo drip due to low ONCO score but has to take 2 types of meds for 5-7 yrs. She will see radiation Dr on the 24th to see if she needs that. She is also undergoing txt for breast reconstruction. I will send up another thread regarding myself. Still asking for prayers--thank you.

I haven't been commenting much lately, but I have followed this, and you and your family have been and are in my prayers. Hope she gets good news from the radiation Dr.

I'm so sorry that Robin's battle will be continuing for years to come. I know that has to be tough news to absorb. Please do remind us when she will be undergoing the reconstruction. I know you will be praying up a storm and we want to add our prayers to yours.

She is undergoing the procedures now for her reconstruction. She wants a second opinion on radiation. She feels this Dr. she is seeing only answers their questions and doesn't contribute much other than telling her risks as if he's trying to talk her out of it. I would ask for second opinion also. She is taking one pill for chemo and will start another in a month or so. Why I am not sure as to the wait. Thanks for asking.
