A friend of many years standing is about to be 90. I have had great fun making a custom card and a reminder of his birthplace. Rob officiated at our wedding and I am godmother to his youngest child.
The card was placed on a rug by Melin Tregwynt which is a beautiful Welsh woollen mill that is still weaving excellent stuff. If anyone is interested in further information about Melin Tregwynt put the name into the internet and have a great read

Oh, forgive me, I am so fascinated by the beautiful rug that I almost forgot to congratulate you on the design of your birthday card. Now I will pass along my radical thinking about birthdays in the nineties. I think they should be celebrated every month on the day of birth, so, January 12th? Jan 12, Feb 12, March 12, etc. I hope he has a lovely day.
