Hello everyone! I apologize for being AWOL and missing saying happy birthday to our birthday Cuties this past week. A very belated happy birthday to you all. To catch you up; I had surgery on the 22nd. Interesting that since the surgery, I have had no episodes of the pain I had been experiencing. I've only had the typical pain from the surgery. I had a total hysterectomy because of cancer. The surgeon checked and saw no outbreaks of cancer in the abdomen. I will get the lab results later this week but don't expect any surprises. And yes, it was stage one so have not been worried. I am recovering well thanks to my handsome hubby who is taking superior care of me. I want to thank all of you who have been praying for me. Your prayers have made such a difference for me. Now I am hoping to be able to pick up my life and start stitching again soon.

Karen, I'm amazed at you. You make all that scary stuff sound so normal and everyday. Glad your body kept alerting you to see the doctor! Continuing in prayer for you two and for some ease!

I have no secret weapon other than prayer and knowing that God is in control. I just refuse to let something like cancer control my life. Someone just told me about a friend whose husband got a cancer diagnosis that should have been a death sentence. She refused to think that ay and thought of it as a chronic illness to live with. Her hubby has been cancer free for 2 years. I am so grateful for each and every prayer.

I'm getting there slowly. I'm so grateful to say goodbye to the narcotics for pain. And grateful for 4 doctors who wouldn't give up finding the solution.

We are hoping this was the cause for the pain, but time will tell. So far, so good and I appreciate that. Thank you. Every prayer is worth more than gold to me.

So glad you are not experiencing the pain. Prayers that all the cancer is gone with the surgery. Just rest and take it easy.....don't start to over do things when you are feeling better, take time to heal.

To God be the Glory Karen. So thrilled to hear this diagnosis. Your faith is strong and you have fantastic support. Not only with your handsome hubby, but your family and of course your Cute family are always here too. I know you will heal beautifully and will be whole again. God is in control. I too agree with Tonya's reply, just rest and take it easy and let those that love you do everything for you - that laundry can wait he he he!!!! Love Chris

You both make me laugh. And which of you told my hubby to do the laundry? He already has it started. Chris I am anxious to have both of us healing together with good news from the biopsies after surgery.

Oh, that would be wonderful after 2 years of bouncing from one issue to another. We both can celebrate healing after long medical battles. And we can include Chris (penifold) in the celebration.

I’m not ever happy to hear cancer, but I am happy it seems contained and you are rid of it. Best thing too, you have no more pain. I am so happy and thankful for this blessing.❤️
