Hi Gals, I've finished the cot quilt for the moment. I'm seeing my quilter next week and she thinks she'll get it done pretty quickly.
I'm disappointed with myself for not putting the grey wing on the Galah (the Pink and White bird on the bottom row), but I suppose nothing is perfect. Overall I'm pleased with the final result, I will then just have to bind it and put a label on the back.
Emma (the mother of the baby Charlotte who will be born at the end of April) doesn't know I've made a cot quilt for her. I do hope she likes it. Love Chris

Hi Kim, yes, it's not a really 'cutesy' type cot quilt, but as she ages she'll know all the Aussie animals, birds and state floral emblems at least. Love Chris

Your quilt is AWESOME. If the lack of grey wing, on the birdie, really bothers you, consider a bit of diluted fabric paint. I think it is beautiful.

Chris, this quilt is absolutely gorgeous. So much love has been put into the quilt. Do not worry about the wing of the Galah. Only God is perfect and I am sure that if He was the quality control inspector, He would give this work of the heart a HUGE stamp of approval.
