Hi Ladies, I'm back again! I was pretty active 11 years ago but then I had 2 little girls and didn't do much embroidery. I popped back for a very short time a few years back but didn't do much sewing or embroidery after that. Now my girls are almost 9 and 11 and I just found my passion for sewing again!

Here's an apron I just finished for my friend Willa whose birthday is this Saturday. I'm going to embroider some hand towels and probably some kitchen towels for her too.

I used the built-in designs on my Baby Lock Solaris. Got the machine 3 years ago when the pandemic just started but hardly used the embroidery function. I watched numerous videos to get acquainted with the machine. It's time to let it run!

It’s beautiful, and very feminine. Willa is going to love it, especially since it is also personalized with her name.

Thank you! I think she'll love it too. I made the straps criss- crossed so they are comfy (do not like neck strap, gives me headache) and stay put. I also put the shoulder straps adjustable.

Welcome back to Cute. Small children and babies leave one with little time to use a embroidery machine.

Yes, for the first few years. Then I got into paper crafting and didn't do much sewing until the pandemic. I sewed a bunch of masks and caps for nurses and friends.

I think many of us sewed masks and scrubs. I love the apron, so much detail and a pretty embroidery. My phone stopped working and I couldn’t finish commenting

Thank you! I added red piping and the ruffles on the top was an after thought because after I finished, the top looked way too narrow. Fortunately the white ruffled trim has binding on it so I could just top stitch it down from the back in order not to block the red piping.

Thank you! I regained my passion for sewing and am planning to do more sewing and embroidering. I will sew a lot of knit projects and try to use my embroidery machines more.
