Towel sets for Willa

Willa's birthday is this Saturday! I did 4 white hand towels and 2 kitchen towels yesterday and now I'm trying to decide if I should add some oven mitts or pot holders to the whole set. I posted the apron for her a couple days ago. The designs are from designsbyjuju.

The white tote bag I plan to hold all the gifts in was sublimated on both sides. Embroidery is nice, but takes too long. This is just a polyester blank I got from Michael's bulk section to sublimate on. Not great quality but serves as a gift bag just fine.

Thank you! She was my upper bunk buddy in college, one of my best friends. They moved in a new house and this will be a big birthday too. Never gave her any birthday gifts before.

Thank you! It's an important birthday and I never gave her any gifts before. I'm also going to make a card.

Beautiful work, but excuse my ignorance - what does the word sublimate mean with regards to the sewing? Love Chris

It is not sewing or embroidery. It is printing on fabric, mugs and other materials. You need sublimation printer and heat press (iron could work too, but not ideal). You print out the mirror image and apply heat to the surface to transfer the image. It is so much faster than embroidery and you can print on hard to hoop items.
