Morning gals, I had an afternoon home after visiting Mum yesterday. So I decided to make a flip and fold large purse (7x12 hoop). This is a Sweetpea design and I love making them. These fabrics were in a little set of 5 fabrics (I used 4) related to the universe and colours out in space.
We are off to the Hunter Valley today for lunch to celebrate our son Ben’s 44th birthday (actually on 11th April) at our favourite restaurant Beaume’s.
Ben has to go back to work on Tuesday, so this was the only time we could get together. Our daughter Amy and family are away up the coast and our elder daughter is also away with girlfriends.
It’s a glorious day and Easter Sunday promises to be the same.

Beautiful job, Chris. This is strange, for my friend in Atlanta called to ask me if I knew of any flip and fold designs. Not off the top of my head. Now I can tell her to go and look at Sweet Pea, She and I had attended on of Sweat Peas tour of US in Orlando a few years back, and we both really enjoy it.

Love the flip and foId! Glad you had the time to make something for yourself, you certainly deserve it! Sounds like your family is very busy and I am sure very supportive. We had Easter egg hunt at the memory care. I will say "don't take the candy wrappers away". Sister was not happy about that, and she let me know those wrappers are hers. Hi Suzanna, I hear ya!! I got a call this morning from the Nursing Home and Mum had another fall. She has a lump on her right hand side of her head. We think she fell out of bed, so it's now down low to the ground. I'll find out more when I see them tomorrow. Today when I saw her she was very dozy!! Love Chris
