My embroidery machine was supposed to be here July 4th 2008. Well it is Brazil so it isn't here yet. In the meantime my DH has worked hard to make life better for us here. He has planted 5 palm trees, 2 bouganvilla trees, 2 Jasmine bushes, an orange tree, a flower garden and some vegetable seeds. It is much nicer now.

Leah, this is beautiful - sorry - that you don't have your machine - I would be going nuts - is there any way that you could have carried it on? That is what I would be trying - Hehehe! Soak up the culture, until it arrives!

I have checked, the airlines say absolutely not. No Way, all of of those other kinds of nasty responses. We are hoping for an arrival tomorrow. Customs has released it several days ago. Now it is up to the trucking co.

oh Leah I'm sorry you don't have the machine yet and hope you get it very soon. palms, bouganvillaes, jasmine and oranges do remind me of Malta summers.... I have none of that now in Germany and I do miss it. your place is lovely, I'm sure you'll find something to occupy yourself with till the machine comes...... if not there's always us cuties :) *

This is true. We are currently painting the inside of our cement fence. My DD's have a large panel going with Arches National Park from the USA and a colorful horse. They are doing a great job.

I looks great, I love the blue trim. The tropical trees & plants sound wonderful, I love bouganvilla, I have a form of Jasmine, It's a vine. I love tropical anything & anywhere. I do not like cold weather. *4U

It is a little extra warm here however. that is why I am glad it is winter. Summers are too much heat.

Leah, you know when your machine arrives DH will have to take care of ALL your gardens/plants. No time for that once you hit the machine....Your place looks inviting...Enjoy each day
