Have not been here for some time. Had my eldest daughter and family staying with us over Easter.
We then flew to Johannesburg for my youngest daughter’s 50th. It was a very grand event. I just felt so proud of her bringing up her children on her own and being the person she is.

Oh how very glamorous everyone looks. I hope to give my son, one day, my grandmother's pearls. My daughter won't want them. She doesn't seem to want anything but she does have a couple rings I have given her, never worn them though. My son is the more sentimental and keeps mementos even if his wife doesn't keep such things but maybe his youngest daughter will want them. Your family is beautiful.
