Hi gals, I’ve done another one of my favourite Kookaburra designs today. It’s from Glenn Harris (years ago). I always make them for overseas friends, but I’m keeping this one for me.
I did him in the 5x7 hoop there are about 27 thousand stitches in him. His finished size is 6x5. Love Chris

Hi Mary, he looks just like the one who is in our backyard every day. He gets chased by a family of Magpies (they don’t like him!!). ❤️👵🏻

I've done the same thing, make things for others and keep my old raggy things and no embroidery. I'm glad you're keeping this one. Cute bird.

Hi Patti, they are a beautiful bird, but some have funny characteristics. They have the most amazing calls. Almost cackles, not like the Magpie who sings with warbles. ❤️👵🏻
