Made a vase 'cover' in my serger club and then we did serger 'crochet' flowers. I hadn't tried that in years. This fabric is batik and the backside has more purple in it. I couldn't pick out which picture to send so I'll post all 4, lol. They were fun to do. I used my old Viking #1+ machine and played with decorative stitches and thicker cord since my serger I use at club doesn't have the fancy chain stitches that some were doing at class so pre-stitched mine at home prior to doing the rest of the serging at club. Boy am I running out of room for sitting and displaying projects.

My serger is one machine that I do not touch much. I never got comfortable with it. You did a good job on these.

I've used a serger for many yrs. My first was a Singer. I made my own clothes as much as possible. Then I was able to save for a Viking Huskylock 910. That froze up recently but I took all the plastic off down to all metal and my husband I let undo all the electronics. All moving parts I could see inside got oiled and the grease in a couple joints still good. Now she hums and purrs so quietly--I fixed her----I've never had a technician touch my machines, trying all I know to do first. This is the first play I got to do at a club I joined after fixing her. Did great. Thank you.

If I could get my husband to hang a few spaced apart shelves, I'd be good. I joined a serger club a friend was in and have been enjoying serging more than just clothes.
