Good morning, everyone. I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you until now. This past week was a tough week which the doctor had said would happen. The radiation has started to affect my digestion system so eating and drinking has been interesting. I am loaded up with meds and Ensure and Body Armour water has been a blessing. And the good news is next week is week 5 so as long as my body and the machine hold up, I will finish up on Friday morning. I have to find humor so I will tell you that the lovely hospital fashion of a johnny has been renamed. I started calling it my bejeweled million-dollar ball gown and we are all belles of the ball. I have to laugh because the other ladies are starting to call it the same. My radiation therapists just chuckle and take great care of me. I am so grateful for the many prayers that have been and continue to be sent up for Rob and me and my incredible medical team. I admit, they are very much needed. I know Rob is very tired and struggling to keep me as healthy as possible. Last week he had to take me to oncology so they could pump in a liter of fluid because I was so dehydrated. I feel so bad that I keep him on his toes getting me fed, watered, medicated, to appointments and keeping me safe because my vertigo is raging big time. God has been so amazing too. Every day last week He pulled out a miracle, so I managed to make my appointments. I am grateful too, that I am told my body will be feeling much better in 3 weeks when my digestive system will start to heal. I apologize to all of our birthday Cuties. I do wish a very belated birthday to all I have missed and an early happy birthday to all who will be celebrating this week.
Blessing and prayers to you.
Hugs
