Hi gals, I’ve been keeping busy during tx and only visiting Mum a couple of time a week. Takes the pressure off me.
I’m feeling fine and am so appreciative of all your thoughts and prayers. It makes it so much better to go through things when you’ve got friends behind you.
Meganne has been a tower of strength for me and was so happy to see me looking so well.
I’m going to see Mum this afternoon for dinner and fill her in on what’s been happening with me, it just goes over head I’m afraid. She introduced me to one of the nurses the other day saying that I was her friend. I smiled and said I’m also someone else to you and she just repeated those words. I ended up telling her that I am her daughter too! So sad, but she is happy and being well looked after. That’s the main thing. Love Chris
The items come from all over the place and being made for my church fete in October.
I hope the items are a sale out! I’m sure they will be.
Good work on those items!
It is hard when they forget. With my grandfather, we had to just let him tell stories. He chatted with my mom, his only daughter, for more than an hour talking about his daughter. My mom thought he was having a lucid moment until he asked if she had met his daughter.
May you be blessed for all you do for your mum.
I've got 6 treatments to go - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week and then next Monday and I finish on Tuesday. Yeah! I've got a pale pink radiation burn and hopefully that will stay like that, but I've been warned that I could get more towards the end of the treatment. Apart from that I have no side effects. Love Chris
I'm going remarkably well, thanks to the quick action of my professional medical team. Medical technology has certainly come a long way in the past 15 years etc. My best friend died from Breast Cancer only 13 years ago, her treatment wasn't as good as what I'm getting today.
I'm glad I've only got 6 tx's to go yeah!! Love Chris
Heart goes out to you, we have gone through same with family. Prays your way.
I know what you are going through with your mother. It is hard to see them deteriorate and be so confused. We were just informed that my husband's oldest sister has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but I noticed changes with her some time ago.
I am glad that you have an early start on great items for your Church Fete.
