Hi gals, been keeping busy sewing more things for our church Fete in October. Lot of embroidery designs from Sweetpea, Kreative Kiwi, Cute, etc. There are also plain bags etc. with Christmas fabrics. I have yet to wash out the towels to remove the WSS, but will do so before the fete. Love Chris

Everything looks so nice, neat and well made. I recognize everything but the item in pink on the upper right hand corner. It has white in the middle. Please tell me what that is.

Chris, these are all terrific, and such an impressive mix of items. You will make a good profit for your Church Fete.
Can you tell us the manufacturer (fabric line) of the Rose fabric you used for the tote bag? It’s lovely. Thanks.

Chris, you are such a gifted, giving person. Your items are gorgeous and the workmanship is excellent. You almost have enough for a stall of your own!!! I hope that they are appreciated. When my daughter was in primary school, they had a fete to raise funds. I volunteered to make a crib quilt to be raffled. I painstakingly hand-embroidered the quilt with Candle wicked animals. Took many weeks to do. I arrived at the fete soon after it started and saw a lady walking towards her car with the quilt over her arm! I approached her as I was confused as to why it was not on display for raffling. I even supplied the raffle tickets! She told me that she had bought it for $15 at one of the stalls. I have still not recovered from the disappointment and shock. I paid way more than that just for the thread! I think I had to lie down and take a tablet!!!! But I guess that the school at least had $15 that they would not have had before. I think that only hand crafters can truly appreciate the time and effort as well as the value of hand-crafted items. But I wish you all the luck with your fete. Your church is lucky to have you.

You are always so early, I just can't think of autumn let alone Christmas. We no longer have a sale, which used to be early december - which I considered a bit late. Maybe I should try to get one this year. Your goodies are quite inspiring!!

I've always had an appreciation for your items and the pleasure of viewing them also. I've made many things to donate to raise money. One of my last things was an embroidered wall hanging. I supplied the fabric to a friend to embroidery outline birds from Emblibrary then I squared them up and did a techinque of quilting with batting and backing called 'the highway' or something like that. It was a lot of work and I told the committee to start the bids at $50. I said if it could not at least bring that much in, I wanted it back. It was an autumn winter theme but matched my stuff. Someone did buy it for $50 but no more bids--that was disheartened also for all the work. I pray all items bring in funds needed. Very very nice.
