I wish those who had birthdays yesterday an apology for not saying a very happy birthday weel to you. So Iwill wish you a belated happy birthday week to you all. I have started my second round of chemo yesterday, am home now. These 2 chemos that I am now on, I think is the last of my treatments. Hopefully it will just be follow-ups after that. Each chemo treatment will be 3 weeks apart, for which I am very grateful. I am well set up with anti-nausea drugs which is a blessing. I also have mitts and gloves with freezer packs to wear during treatment to help prevent neuropathy of hands and feet. I am so well cared for by my hardworking handsome hubby/caregiver. I continue to be grateful for each and every prayer uttered for both my hubby and for me. I am the most blessed person on earth.

Thanks. I know Rob is struggling trying to keep up with everything. So, you know each and every prayer is very much valued. I admit, yesterday was a tough day, but thanks to prayers and hugs and anti-nausea meds, we got through it quite well.

Thanks. And I am so happy to say you are correct. I will be done with chemo by the middle of September and ready to watch my hair grow in again. hehe

Thanks. I'm so glad you are picking up your own life after all you have been through while also trying to care for your mum. I admit, when I get down, I think of all the incredible people we met while going radiation. I can't stay down for long when I think how blessed I am to have Rob and so many prayer warriors helping me.

Chemo is very debilitating to say the least. I know from experience and like you my wonderful husband was there for me through all of it. I have been in remission for 5 years and feeling very well.

Karen, so happy you have gotten to your final treatment......your poor body and mind has been thru a brutal battle and I know you have come out on the winning side with God's arms around you, as well as all your supportive friends and wonderful hub!!
