Happy Birthday Nora Jane!
Today is her birthday and she had 8 girls come to her swimming- Stitch party. We gave her sewing items because she is starting to sew. I told her when she comes again I will let her choose fabrics and thread from my stash. Most all the girls gave her something of Stitch like tee shirts, backpack, etc
Mom said Nora decorated her own cake. Cake was pineapple, good and cold on this hot July afternoon.
A few of the girls were staying overnight but some were being picked up as we left. I think she has enjoyed her party.
Last picture was a couple weeks ago when I stayed with them that week. She made two items. One phone holder for her dad and a pouch for her mom.

Well done to Nora for sewing out these gifts for her parents and for you helping her to learn how to sew Toogie. Whilst you guys are having heat waves, we've got 20-21C for winter! It feels like Spring and of course we begin Spring on the 1st September, so not too long to go. Love Chris

Thanks Chris, I would welcome a little cooler temperatures. Yesterday hub was outside a few hours and came in with his shirt soaked with sweat and red face. I had been gone to my quilting/sewing group and just had come in. I told him he needs to take water breaks and cool off too.

Nora is growing into one incredible and talented young lady! A very happy birthday to her. I am so impressed with her cake. I love the theme of her party and hope to see more of her creations. All too soon, she is going to need a sewing room of her own.

Lol-I’ll tell her dad. They already have a second kitchen so why not a sewing room!

We must be on the same wave length! My grand, Vivian is having her birthday party tomorrow (also a pool party!!!). I hope Nora's party was everything she had wished for! I love the look of her cake - she did such a good job decorating it and I love love love the gifts she made for her parents!! Happy Birthday, Nora! Hugs, Laura
