I want to assure everyone I am looking at your projects and posts just not responding to any much. Right now I am very weak, today with new symptoms from the chemo. This is only Tues and last Thurs was my 1st chemo and already lost 10 Lbs. Today my legs wouldn't hold me up and then other symptoms hit the same time. I am being cheered by seeing everyone's beautiful embroideries, plus other things. This site keeps me going as well as a special person rooting me on and knowing she has been going thru the same thing and giving me lots of hints as well as God's enduring love for us all. I treasure this site!

We know there is nothing like the prayers uttered by our Cute family and the projects shared by them. As a care giver told me when I started treatment, rest when you are tired and nap when you are sleepy. And as my hubby says multiple times a day, rest and rest some more. And drink your Ensure. Your body needs the calories.

We couldn't get my dad to drink the Ensure until his doctor approved adding a small scoop of ice cream to improve the quality of the taste (and he was diabetic).

I just wanted to suggest to you that you keep a phone by your side at all times. I also had a problem with my legs being wobbly a few days after a Chemo session and was home by myself and got out of bed and the legs just gave way. Couldn't get myself up needed help to do that. Just be aware and plan your day around how you feel.

Hi Patti, I'm glad that you have such great support and that we can offer our prayers for those needing them. Good comments from Karen, rest whenever you can and have a sleep often. I've been busy with Mum since we got back from holidays on Monday. I'll post something later on the weekend.
