Hi Cuties! This pattern is Brightly by Cluck Cluck Sew, made in Red White Blues for, you guessed it, another veteran! I love this easy pattern because I think it packs a good punch! And I love the ‘chain’ look. I made it 60x84 inches and Thursday it goes to our QOV quilter. I will probably bind it with whatever color she uses for the back.

Tomorrow I am cutting more squares for an on point quilt. Wednesday I have Ashley’s 3 kids all day. She has decided to work one day a week at the hospital since she can make more that one day than driving a school bus all week. I’m glad she’s using her degree that she worked and went to college for but sometimes they have to figure things out for themselves. So as it stands I will have the kids every Wednesday. I have my own suction pump for Avery now and Gus and Nora are no trouble, just have to fix them something to eat. Maybe p’nut butter & jelly sandwiches-lol My hubby would really go for that I’m sure-lol-not really.
Also Wednesday, Angie will be picking up her Mexican Star quilt I finished. I am anxious to see what she thinks.
Well, off to bed soon, ….maybe. We have a man coming in the morning to buy our camper, so will have to rise early.- ❤️Toogie

It is like a painting, beautiful and so bright. How you find the time to do all that you do amazes me.
Enjoy your grandies make the most of the time with them, they grow up to quickly these days. Mine are all grown up and making their way in the world, and I am so proud of them.

I really like this one too, thank you. I have been wanting to try this pattern and always forgot when it was time to make another quilt. This time I made a note, with 2 on my to do list, this one and another.

Thank you C, I wish I would have kept a record of how many QOV quilts I’ve made. A lady asked me the other day and I couldn’t give her a number. Unless, I took a picture and I have tried to remember to, I don’t know.

I have just counted the pictures, of just QOV quilts, on my phone. I have made 33 for sure, for veterans, since I joined in 2019. I need to check on my computer but at least 33. I’ve also made 43 for family and CASA, according to my phone pictures. It really doesn’t matter. I guess it’s what you call ‘useless information’.-lol

This is beautiful and you say easy? I will have to check out the site Cluck Cluck Go since someone mentioned this to me a month ago. I can not even pick out the main block of where it starts and ends. You are the Master. You are very gracious and know the Veteran's really appreciate their quilt.

For Patti and whoever else may be interested. Here are the two blocks. You just alternate one then the other to get the size you need across and down. The blocks are 12.5 inches before sewn into rows. I have 5 blocks across by 7 blocks down, so 35 total and measurement of 60inches across by 84 inches down.
