Hello Cuties! These are fabrics my daughter picked up at Walmart. She cut and sewed the squares into rows, then brought the rows to me to cut the set in triangles. I cut and pinned them on each end of the rows so she wouldn’t get mixed up, also labeling the number of rows in order. She had also brought me, at the same time, her backing fabric and batting. After she came over a few times and each time I reminded her that her triangles were pinned on and ready for her to finish, she would always say,’I’ll get them later’. Well hubby and I concluded she wasn’t going to get them until mom finished it for her.-lol So….it’s 65.5x95.5 she cut her squares 6.5 inches and I added the 5 inch border after sewing the set in triangles. She bought 6.5 yards of 45 in fabric and I had just enough for the borders, backing and binding. Of course, the backing has two seams where I pieced. She doesn’t know it’s finished so next time she comes, I am going to tell her I am going to get her stuff so she can finish her quilt. Won’t she be surprised (or not) to see it’s done!

Quick, while there's still time, let her learn! From the master!

She does need to learn but they have been extra busy lately. I just hope she hasn’t lost interest or bring me any future quilts to finish. I don’t mind quilting for her but I don’t want to make the top too.

Mums and daughters - they know each other so well. And we mums, we love them so much, we fall for their tactics. Even when we know their game. My two daughters know exactly how to play me :)

Great work, toogie, it looks lovely. I bet she'll be so happy you finished it!

Please wish your daughter Happy Birthday for the 20th.
You have once again done a lovely job. At first, I did not understand what you meant by at the end. Oh, I am so much better with pictures, now I understand.

If you mean at the set in triangles at the end of each row, I will add pictures for you. Thank you for both the birthday wishes and your comments.

Thank you for pictures, unfortunately they did not come out all three had a 404 message.
It was the comment about the triangles at the end, as I mentioned I am so much better with pictures. Thanks anyway, I understood once I looked a second time at your lovely quilt. Must be a senior moment LOL.

They weren’t home when we went. The house, pool house, jeep all locked naturally, so I left the quilt and a tray of cookies on a glider, in the screened in room, between the pool house and the pool . When I laid the quilt down I thought the backing looked like the pool water, so refreshing. Thanks

I love those colors, and you both did a great job. I bet she was surprised when she saw it on her glider.

Thank you, I had called her when they weren’t home and told her to look for something in the screened in room.
