Hi gals, here’s some things I’ve been doing for the church fete this Saturday. These are extra to the stuff I’d already done. All designs I’ve had for years, some coasters, tea towels, eyeglass case, Christmas things, bags, pillow cases etc.

I’m off to singing practice today for the fete. I’m singing with 2 guitarists in the church whilst people are mingling around the hall and church etc.
I’ve also finished Mum’s lap quilt, just need to put on the label. Have a great week. Love Chris

Enjoy your voice. Am asking for singing ability when I get to Heaven, Lord willing.

Thanks so much Worthy, my favourite is the Rooster. I love them and have a lot of designs of Roosters. Thanks for your well wishes. Everyone can sing, just maybe not in tune always! Love Chris

Well I'll just say it is best for me not to sing alone or to loud in a group. I so sing along with the congregation, not sure if mine is a joyful noise ;-) Blessing to you, Zoe

Hi Suzanne, thanks so much. I'm happy with the quilt, although I wish I'd have another border around it, but my backing fabric was only that wide! I hope she loves the quilt too. Love Chris

Your hands are always busy creating goodies for such good reasons. Prayers are going up for a very successful endeavor for God’s people. I love your Mum’s lap quilt. Beautiful and stitched with love.

Thanks Karen, it was a great day yesterday. Our priest said this morning we raised over $5000, which isn't bad in today's economic climate. I hope Mum loves the quilt, she doesn't seem very interested in things these days!! Love Chris

Hi Vicki, I can't take credit for the quilting. My quilter does this for me. It only cost me $80.00 and it's a beautiful design which flows so well. Love Chris

Love that heart quilt piece but all your projects you are showing are great also. I used to sing with the church Praise Chior and sometimes a solo but my throat closes up and I am hoarse so much now. Chemo??? doing it, I don't know. Now into radiation. I love that, thru it all, you manage to do all this work.

Thanks Patti, I appreciate your comments. Yes, it's a great hobby to have whilst we go through things.
Just learned today that I was supposed to sing at a dear Parishioner's funeral on the 30th October, but unfortunately that's the day I see my Heart Specialist and I've been waiting for months to get in to see him.
Fortunately, Trev has an appointment on the same day so that saves us an extra trip to see him. I don't know what will happen, just have to wait till then! Love Chris
